  We were staying at the Amalfi resort and thought we were in luck when we heard the Fre-Jac was coming in the morning. Wow, the food looked amazing and the lady was lovely! Wish it tasted as good as it looked! I ordered two Nutella donuts and two plain. Was given two jam instead which I couldn't eat. The chocolate croissant tasted like one from Coles and mums almond croissant was $8! SOO disappointed!

  Purchased a couple of mushroom pies from thr bakery then felt quite sick, called the bakery to ask what ingredients were used as we have an allergy to nuts, the owner persisted there were no nuts in the pies, just mushrooms n pesto... I then tried to explain that pesto contained NUTS. .. pine nuts to be specific. He then rudely went on to tell me that pesto doesn't n that he'd been using it for 10 years... sorry but a nut allergy to many people can be quite deadly. I was just making him aware that this was the case and to make future customers aware but the owner could not accept this simple fact then I'm afraid 10 years of credibility has just gone out the window.

  They serve up ham, cheese and avocado on the freshest baguette you'll get in the SW. Made up in the spot and always a winner with taste and price

  We loved Fre Jac and the yummy things they created. Kids always look forward to practising their best french. They could only have pain au chocolates if they ordered themselves in French!
